Photoshop Magic #2

I'm really not sure how many people actually view my blog. At the beginning the amount of hits I received attested to more, but now its getting quite empty in here, especially since there are only about two or three people, of however many that actual read my blog, that comment. That is Ashley, Josh, and my mum, but my mum doesn't really count because she's my mum and mothers are supposed to do that sort of thing. So, the moral of this story is to leave comments, because it makes me happy.

So, anyways, I have another photoshop project I finished tonight, an image of my brother and his bandmates. The original is just a black and white image so I added some color and a lot of other cool stuff and I think I might have gone a little over the top, but hey, its like there are any critics around here so I'm free to display without being noob cannoned. For those of you who have not seen the original image, it can be found here

Hopefully I'll get around to writing something sometime soon, something snarky per usual. But until then, you'll just have to try and enjoy my pictures thingies. Cheers!

The edited version of the finished work, with the soda bottle removed, can be found here

i think they should pretty much hire you for their... picture managing, or whatever that kind of job is called. Good job.
And that AO1 pic is sweet. The original and the new and improved one. Good job.
How many times can I say that in one comment? I won't even try to answer that.
And my dear boy, you should go to bed earlier. I called it quits at 2.15 or something like that. You seriously overloaded. :P
have fun! knock yourself out! (nicely of course, no need to damage that skull of yours)
and i'll stop before i get even dumber.

Rachel is awesome in the back there.
So it worked. One more person commented than normal.
That's how we do.
And I like your photoshop work. Nicely.

Morning. What are you talking about Em? I'm not back anywhere. And I'm reading your blog. I can't claim that I'm your biggest, bestest, super-est blog-reader, but I am the kind of person who lurks in the blogs of friends of friends. :-) That was a gnarly sentence. Ok, you go to bed too late, but I leave comments too early in the morning - I hope you will forgive me!

Not you! Rachel Ancheta. Her parents worked at Gleanings for a while, and I think she's still down there? Maybe not. Her dad got a pastoralship in SF.

Late bedtimes are pretty normal for the average teen. You were always just smarter than me and realized that sleep was good, Rachel. Now I go to bed around 9:30ish. Sheesh! I went from 4am to 9pm. Crazy world out there folks.

Here is your deal 'ol mum commenting as all good mums should do. =)

I really like what you did with the AO1 pic!

Guess you had to use old material because we had the camera with us on our trip. Oh well. The camera is home again.

That is pretty sweet. I never get tired of looking at this picture, though that sounds a little conceited. The colors are a little trippy but being as how you did it from black and white it looks really good. I like the symbol name at the top with the abbreviation behind it. And the little scratch marks in the background, looks like a little kid got to it and started coloring on it. But looks good still. There is just one thing that doesn't fit and never has and we always forget about it until we look at it again and thats the pepsi bottle. Can you find it? Its like a where's waldo kind of thing. It just makes the pic look weird when you see it. Anyway, good job. If it takes stay up all night for this kind of creativity to happen maybe you should save all your photoshopping until then.

Back by popular demand, I went back and removed the soda bottle. You wouldn't know it was ever there if you had not seen the original. The new edited version will be posted in this blog entry as ya'll can see it.
